Not having played this game for a while, I decided to start a new game with an English team in southern conference league (Blue square bet south). I picked a random Londen based team to start with and it ended up being Sutton Utd.
With low expectations, and not much to work with financially, I don’t have much hope for the first season. I’ll basically start to see what I can do with what I have. It seems like scouting is restricted to England, so I’ll have to work with local talents.
The first thing I notice is that the club is missing a lot of staff. I’ll try to at least find an assistant manager during the first few weeks. All I have right now is 2 coaches and two scounts. They seem to be ok, but nothing special.
With my transfer budget of about £2k and salery budget of about £4k I don’t have a lot of freedom.
The good part is, that most of the reserve team are non-contracted players that doesn’t cost much.
